Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Roales in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Wallon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocencio Olaechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Biot in the 13th minute of play. Leandro Verga scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Wallon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Leandro Verga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Wallon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Wallon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Dalaje in the 22nd minute of play. Joaquim Wallon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Roales's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Mateo Carmenes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joaquim Wallon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, U.S.Normande's Inocencio Olaechea threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Bez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Zenaido Forcat fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RockCity F.C.'s protests and gave Zenaido Forcat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Zenaido Forcat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When RockCity F.C.'s Martin Roales in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U.S.Normande's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute, Leandro Verga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leandro Verga to strike the kick off in the second half. Leandro Verga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Martin Roales lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Joaquim Wallon. RockCity F.C.'s Inocencio Olaechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Biot in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes RockCity F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Matias Urtiaran. After 82 played minutes, U.S.Normande's Pierre-Emmanuel Laudet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inocencio Olaechea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U.S.Normande reached it. After 85 played minutes U.S.Normande got a freekick which was hit by Roland Beaugrand. The supporters of RockCity F.C. booed when U.S.Normande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Emmanuel Laudet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Wallon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Verga in the 87th minute. Leandro Verga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
