KS Olimpia Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zacisze Częstochowa the free kick. Miromir Zukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Adamowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Walery Adamowicz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of KS Olimpia Warszawa's Miromir Zukowski. Miromir Zukowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miromir Zukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Penkalski in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Zacisze Częstochowa's Julian Skrzypiec dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Filip Kon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Miromir Zukowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 29th minute, Wladyslaw Wallach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wawrzyniec Oborski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Wallach in the 34th minute of play forced Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Oborski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Wit Grocholski in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Bernard Bentkowski. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Wit Grocholski hit a great ball. Konrad Pankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Oborski having to interfere. Karol Kolbe made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Bernard Bentkowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Wallach in the 43rd minute of play forced Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Oborski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Zbigniew Penkalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Zukowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as KS Olimpia Warszawa's Wladyslaw Wallach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wawrzyniec Oborski. That made the score 3-2 after 59 minutes of play. In the 70th match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Wallach to maneuver through the defense. Wieslaw Wiater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Miromir Zukowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Penkalski notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of KS Olimpia Warszawa's Miromir Zukowski. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Zacisze Częstochowa were the better team. Zacisze Częstochowa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
