Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Floris Hoving successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Floris Hoving was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Foeke Wilminck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 38 minute of play. The Fargo SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De hijgende Hertjes were winning 1-2.

De hijgende Hertjes's Floris Hoving played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foeke Wilminck in the 53rd minute of play. Hugo Rueda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Floris Hoving having to interfere. In the 60th minute Hugo Rueda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Hoving saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Beukenkamp hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Foeke Wilminck couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Fargo SC booed when De hijgende Hertjes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip de Groot didn't get a good kick on the ball. De hijgende Hertjes's Floris Hoving played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Schattenberg in the 77th minute of play. Marcel Lammers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fargo SC's Dick van der Stoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Lammers in the 89th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Hugo Rueda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De hijgende Hertjes's Floris Hoving was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fargo SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
