Gryffindor Lions's Hipolito Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Catarinense in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético São Sebastião's Luizão Vidal got a free kick in the 9th minute. Samuca Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Breogan's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Angelino Gil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuca Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The Gryffindor Lions fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Gryffindor Lions's Edgardo Breogan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgardo Breogan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Samuca Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gryffindor Lions. In the 28th minute Edu Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Atlético São Sebastião were awarded a corner. Tomás Catarinense went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tomás Catarinense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hipolito Vela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th match minute, Gryffindor Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Ignado to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Oroitz's late challenge caught a Atlético São Sebastião's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gryffindor Lions getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Salvador Oroitz hit a great ball. Hipolito Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Breogan got free with Samuca Sá in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Edu Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Hipolito Vela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético São Sebastião. Tomás Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gryffindor Lions's Edgardo Breogan got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Atlético São Sebastião got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Dracena. Víktor Furtado got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jerônimo Munhoz. Edgardo Breogan scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuca Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Atlético São Sebastião getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Luizão Vidal hit a great ball. Angelino Gil hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gryffindor Lions booed when Atlético São Sebastião was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuca Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Atlético São Sebastião defense, Angelino Gil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Sá. The Atlético São Sebastião fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Sá should have stopped the shot. Hipolito Vela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizão Vidal in the 86th minute. After 95 minutes, Leo Otsando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gryffindor Lions and the Atlético São Sebastião players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leo Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético São Sebastião players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gryffindor Lions.
