A very good chance. 洪宽银 came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Sentinel's Ignatius Revaldy. But to his dismay, Ignatius Revaldy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in DongFeng Honda FC's zone, Sapardi Hardjasoemantri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 洪宽银 came out of the goal and Sapardi Hardjasoemantri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Ignatius Revaldy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 洪宽银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, 于鸿鸿 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DongFeng Honda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sentinel the free kick. The supporters of Sentinel booed when DongFeng Honda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. 于鸿鸿 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, DongFeng Honda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatius Revaldy came free, but 洪宽银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DongFeng Honda FC's 于鸿鸿 got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. The referee ordered 于鸿鸿 off the ground. In the 23rd minute, 于鸿鸿 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Igus Ardiansyah shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 洪宽银 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sapardi Hardjasoemantri struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. 洪宽银 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sentinel. In the 29th minute, Brama Harmoko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sentinel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Brama Harmoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sentinel were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

DongFeng Honda FC's 洪宽银 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sapardi Hardjasoemantri in the 86th minute of play. Ignatius Revaldy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of 洪宽银 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brama Harmoko in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 洪宽银 saved DongFeng Honda FC from getting behind. After 95 minutes, 吕轩光 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DongFeng Honda FC and the Sentinel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, DongFeng Honda FC's 吕轩光 got a free kick in the 95th minute.
