Romos FC's Calistrat Herescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Britto in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Andrea Shevchenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Calistrat Herescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Romos FC's Tudor Bala got a free kick in the 16th minute. Calistrat Herescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Guimarães in the 20th minute of play forced Romos FC's goalkeeper Calistrat Herescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Romos FC got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Beligan. Marcu Goiciu made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Florin Ţurcaş. Calistrat Herescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Britto in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, New Loser FC's Walmyr Porto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Walmyr Porto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of New Loser FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Walmyr Porto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Walmyr Porto got a free kick in the 34th minute. Calistrat Herescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Guimarães in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Cássio Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Herescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Romos FC got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Lăzăroiu. The Romos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Loser FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Britto to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Coutinho. In the 55th minute, Evaristo Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Herescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Britto in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, João Pedro Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Loser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romos FC's Calistrat Herescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Romos FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Britto in the 62nd minute of play forced Romos FC's goalkeeper Calistrat Herescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romos FC:s Calistrat Herescu showed great skill when he stopped Evaristo Guimarães:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Romos FC's zone, Cássio Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Herescu came out of the goal and Cássio Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Bala in the 75th minute of the match. Calistrat Herescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Deivid Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Amânaloae kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Calistrat Herescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Calistrat Herescu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when João Pedro Goiano sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Britto in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calistrat Herescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded New Loser FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Romos FC.
