The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enrique Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Kemen in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 34 minutes on the clock, Danilo Lluc commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Flores AC booed when GARNIC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Tomás Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flores AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Salomon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Ciriaco Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Iruinea made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Flores AC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Oliviero. After recieving a nice pass, GARNIC FC's Ruperto Javiero tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, GARNIC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Fonda to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Flores AC defense, Ruperto Iruinea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Salvidor. The Flores AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Salvidor should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, GARNIC FC's Tiburcio Arixo got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Flores AC's Wilfredo Txomin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Sotil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Salomon during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás Salomon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bartolo Salvidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Iruinea went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Flores AC's Bartolo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Flores AC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, GARNIC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Kemen to maneuver through the defense. When Aurelio Aresti came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Flores AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Aresti couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ruperto Iruinea sent off a good shot on target. GARNIC FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Flores AC had controlled the match.
