Ruperto Iruinea scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjy Hauschildt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyd Alcock in the 20th minute of play forced GARNIC FC's goalkeeper Generoso Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, GARNIC FC's Ruperto Javiero got a free kick in the 21st minute. Stratton FC's Benjy Hauschildt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Iruinea in the 24th minute of play. Benjy Hauschildt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Iruinea in the 25th minute of play. If Logan Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Logan Benson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Sotil having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Stratton FC's zone, Ruperto Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjy Hauschildt came out of the goal and Ruperto Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Kemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjy Hauschildt having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Ruperto Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GARNIC FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Iruinea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjy Hauschildt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Kemen's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stratton FC's zone, Ruperto Javiero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjy Hauschildt came out of the goal and Ruperto Javiero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Iruinea made a kick off. GARNIC FC's Enrique Kemen got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ciriaco Mark fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARNIC FC's protests and gave Ciriaco Mark a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stratton FC booed when GARNIC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Mark didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Kemen came free, but Benjy Hauschildt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjy Hauschildt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Iruinea in the 67th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Boyd Alcock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stratton FC and the GARNIC FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Stratton FC's zone, Ruperto Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjy Hauschildt came out of the goal and Ruperto Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjy Hauschildt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Arixo in the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Arixo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benjy Hauschildt. Tiburcio Arixo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 90 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Kemen came free, but Benjy Hauschildt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GARNIC FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
