Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Vigário started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Esteban Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Esteban Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th minute, Leo Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Ramone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Afonso Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes ÓKINJÔ FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Espinosa. After some careless play in the San Martin de Tucuman defense, Joaquim Baldaia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Steven. The San Martin de Tucuman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Steven should have stopped the shot. Tomás Vigário recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Espinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Esteban Bitxintxo made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Meireles having to interfere. San Martin de Tucuman's Fabricio Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Vigário in the 54th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Tomás Vigário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, ÓKINJÔ FC's Tomás Vigário sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabricio Steven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lourenço Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Fabricio Steven made a huge save. When Abel Espinosa fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ÓKINJÔ FC's protests and gave Abel Espinosa a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. San Martin de Tucuman's Siro Barrionuevo was substituted for Raimundo Meder. A collision led to ÓKINJÔ FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Abel Espinosa hit a great ball. The supporters of ÓKINJÔ FC booed when San Martin de Tucuman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Vigário in the 95th minute of the match. ÓKINJÔ FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
