Bonifacio Emmanuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Dwayne Clement nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Emmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Placido Lesardo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for João Leite to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Dwayne Clement got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Bonifacio Emmanuel came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Ayrton Senna. But to his dismay, Ayrton Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Waylon McQueen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Emmanuel having to interfere. Placido Lesardo in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Leite, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Falconara Albanese defense, Ayrton Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bonifacio Emmanuel. The Falconara Albanese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Emmanuel should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ayrton Senna to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dwayne Clement got free with Bonifacio Emmanuel in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, New England Minas's Bonifacio Emmanuel threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacques Stovall, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Falconara Albanese's Freddy Mero got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bonifacio Emmanuel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ayrton Senna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 59 minute of play. A collision led to Falconara Albanese getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Freddy Mero hit a great ball. Bonifacio Emmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayrton Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Falconara Albanese's Bonifacio Emmanuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Falconara Albanese from getting a goal against them. Marco Arnas charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Arnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Falconara Albanese getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marco Arnas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ayrton Senna could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Bonifacio Emmanuel however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwayne Clement in the 73rd minute of play forced Falconara Albanese's goalkeeper Bonifacio Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waylon McQueen in the 77th minute of play. Bonifacio Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waylon McQueen in the 90th minute of the match.
