After 9 minutes, Nuno Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diamante Negro DK - VV and the Chamaicó players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Viana. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Matai in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamílton Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Raúl Dias came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Diamante Negro DK - VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Dias couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamílton Cardozo got free with Roberto Pirro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Tepedino during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Diamante Negro DK - VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Diamante Negro DK - VV got a corner. Chamaicó's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matías Viña ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chamaicó's goalie and right to Alessandro de Moraes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chamaicó's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Chamaicó's Roberto Pirro got control of the ball when Raúl Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matías Viña hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Fausto Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Matai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamílton Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Pirro having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Hamílton Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamílton Cardozo to make the kick off. Chamaicó's Maximo Karmel pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Alexandre Tepedino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Roberto Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Dias in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Diamante Negro DK - VV booed when Chamaicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Viña to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Raúl Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Pirro was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Matías Viña got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Raúl Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matías Viña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Pirro having to interfere. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Diamante Negro DK - VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamante Negro DK - VV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
