Grigore Iovu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mieszko Domamir's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florin Burlea during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Mieszko Domamir made a precise shot to the right of Grigore Iovu. Ajax Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mieszko Domamir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Grigore Iovu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Madan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Wasyl Sidorowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Spãtaru in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petru Spãtaru in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wasyl Sidorowicz saved Karpaty Krosno from getting behind. After 27 minutes, Petru Spãtaru made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petru Spãtaru to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute Petru Spãtaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Klement Czekaj put in a rough tackle. In the 64th minute, one of Karpaty Krosno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karpaty Krosno. In the 73rd match minute, Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Barys to maneuver through the defense. Nicolae Cotofanã helped the player get up and apologised. Nicolae Cotofanã kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ajax Academy had won after a very even match.
