An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Cociu in the 11th minute of play forced Chamaicó's goalkeeper Roberto Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Evelio Claus fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chamaicó's protests and gave Evelio Claus a yellow card for diving instead. When Ajax Academy's Petru Spãtaru in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chamaicó's goalie prevented a goal. Vadim Briceag hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's Gilberto Egun broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fausto Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Petru Spãtaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ajax Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Roberto Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Spãtaru in the 44th minute of the match. If Fausto Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ajax Academy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fausto Matai made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Esteban Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Ciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Roberto Pirro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 58th minute, Petru Spãtaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 65 in the game by Petru Spãtaru from a close distance when the talented Roberto Pirro managed to make a qualified save. Chamaicó's players were relieved. A collision led to Chamaicó getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Evelio Claus hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petru Spãtaru in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Pirro saved Chamaicó from getting behind. Fausto Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Grigore Iovu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Domingos Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petru Spãtaru in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roberto Pirro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th minute Petru Spãtaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
