After 3 minutes of play, Skene's Ronny Örtlund made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylwester Poling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sylwester Poling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Örtlund in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Richard Hagberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skene fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jedrzej Budrewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Skene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Stenman to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Antoszewski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Örtlund in the 28th minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Sylwester Poling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Hagberg in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Poling saved Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Stanislaw Lanczak took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Tord Thorsberg to make any attempt to save it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Hagberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sylwester Poling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Hagberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sylwester Poling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Viktor Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Poling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Hagberg in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Skene got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Helander. 60 minutes into the match, Skene's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Przybyciel came free, but Tord Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Galagan to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boleslaw Antoszewski during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Boleslaw Antoszewski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Sylwester Poling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Stenqvist. Sylwester Poling came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Skene's Viktor Stenman. But to his dismay, Viktor Stenman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sylwester Poling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Hagberg in the 71st minute of the match. Sylwester Poling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Hagberg's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Skene's Kristoffer Esbjörnsson got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tord Thorsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Rzentkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Stenman in the 86th minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Sylwester Poling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Stenman came free, but Sylwester Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Hagberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Ronny Örtlund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Skene supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skene would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
