José Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Ubarna Huertas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Ronaldo Eanes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The long shot by Christiano Planes in the 7th minute really tested José Monteiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. José Monteiro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sociedad Anónima's Ubarna Huertas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ubarna Huertas sped through Bembenfica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Monteiro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Sabrosa during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bembenfica getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ronaldo Sabrosa hit a great ball. Ubarna Huertas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of José Monteiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Ubarna Huertas sped through Bembenfica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Monteiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ubarna Huertas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sociedad Anónima's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubarna Huertas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belchior Reis made a kick off. José Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubarna Huertas in the 51st minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's Maurin Pamo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 minutes Bembenfica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christiano Planes who took care of the corner kick. Christiano Planes made a great header on Sociedad Anónima's corner, it was just that Bembenfica's José Monteiro managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurin Pamo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Monteiro saved Bembenfica from getting behind. José Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubarna Huertas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 70 minutes, Ubarna Huertas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sociedad Anónima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubarna Huertas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Monteiro came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sociedad Anónima's Ubarna Huertas. But to his dismay, Ubarna Huertas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 86 minutes into the game, Ubarna Huertas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. José Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Guib Gonzalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Ubarna Huertas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sociedad Anónima had played much better football throughout.
