Peker Eraksan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Batista in the 5th minute of play. Iker Vasco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Academia FC's zone, Başaran Batıray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Vasco came out of the goal and Başaran Batıray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Academia FC's Marcelino Batista pulled a muscle in his back after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Enginalp Baykal's late challenge caught a Academia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enginalp Baykal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Academia FC booed when ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enginalp Baykal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Martxot in the 17th minute of play forced ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s goalkeeper Peker Eraksan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Ireno came free, but Peker Eraksan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Peker Eraksan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Martxot in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mustafa Namık Karar hit a great ball. Peker Eraksan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Iker Vasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armağan Ilımlı's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Maximo Gau hit a great ball. When Mario Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Academia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Rivero couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armağan Ilımlı came free, but Iker Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia FC's Iker Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armağan Ilımlı in the 84th minute of play. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Federico Nicholas scored to the left of an out of position Peker Eraksan, making the score, 3-4. If Federico Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Armağan Ilımlı made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Vasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Academia FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
