Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Fernando Britto started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes Zebus FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Novaes. 9 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Britto came free, but Júnior Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlos Fernando Britto 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 17th minute Carlos Fernando Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Godoi's late challenge caught a FC BARCELONA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when Zebus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Terra in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Luizão Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC BARCELONA's Júnior Cardozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save FC BARCELONA from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Carlos Fernando Britto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júnior Cardozo. The goal made the score 2-0. FC BARCELONA's Marquinhos Severo suffered a sore thigh after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. FC BARCELONA made a substitution. Fiori de Medeiros replaced Marquinhos Severo. After a rather tough play, Zebus FC's Carlos Fernando Britto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Júlio Pena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Léo de Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizão Varela made a kick off. When Luizão Varela fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BARCELONA's protests and gave Luizão Varela a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC BARCELONA getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luizão Varela hit a great ball. Júnior Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Britto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Júnior Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC BARCELONA's Júnior Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Godoi in the 72nd minute of play. Carlos Fernando Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Zebus FC's Carlos Fernando Britto made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Britto came free, but Júnior Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Godoi in the 94th minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Júnior Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zebus FC had won after a very even match.
