In the 8th minute José Vítor Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinton Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Fontes in the 9th minute of play forced ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Quinton Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Quintana came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudinho Teixeira could save by the left post. In the 17th minute, Bernardo Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quinton Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Quinton Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Paiva in the 24th minute of the match. Quinton Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alarico Lastras scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's Bernardo Fontes got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Claudinho Teixeira came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ReyPoxo's Igor Quintana. But to his dismay, Igor Quintana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 39th minute, Daniel Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SALIMEN's Teodoro Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SALIMEN's Claudinho Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Quintana in the 43rd minute of play. Claudinho Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Castelao in the 47th minute. Claudinho Teixeira was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Alarico Lastras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alarico Lastras really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belmiro Baptista was the one to do the kick off.
