Elliott Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史旭博, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 史旭博 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Elliott Levander made a huge save. Gordon Strachan charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gordon Strachan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But to his dismay, 史旭博 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aaron Kvist made the kick off in the second half.
