The supporters of Kikemania FC booed when Vila Nova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wanderson Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jaime Quilino made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Jaime Quilino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wanderson Baptista. If Wanderson Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ubaldo Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Adhemar Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurinho Custódio during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Vila Nova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Custódio to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Henrique do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Quilino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Vila Nova FC's Wanderson Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kikemania FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tiburcio Ofelio hit a great ball. Jaime Quilino was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Adhemar Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adhemar Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Wanderson Baptista notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Kikemania FC's Jaime Quilino. Jaime Quilino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Niceto Daunte made the kick off in the second half. When Elias Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Vila Nova FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Sarmento couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the game, Vila Nova FC's Cacá da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Quilino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Baptista in the 56th minute of play forced Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Jaime Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Quilino came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Nova FC's Wanderson Baptista. But to his dismay, Wanderson Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jaime Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kikemania FC's Tiburcio Ofelio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Quilino was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Adhemar Freire scored 7-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Quilino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 69 minutes, Wanderson Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Nova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá da Fonseca in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Wanderson Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Nova FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 80th minute, Cacá da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Quilino. Kikemania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. 83 minutes into the match, Wanderson Baptista notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Kikemania FC's Jaime Quilino. Jaime Quilino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kikemania FC's Jaime Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Baptista in the 88th minute of play. Jaime Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Baptista in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Sarmento in the 93rd minute of play forced Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Jaime Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vila Nova FC had played much better football throughout.
