The Ricart Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Cardoso should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Faustão Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo got control of the ball when Faustão Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilberto Ciano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís de Sena in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute Tadeo Chorache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Federico Tebaldo fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urko FC's protests and gave Federico Tebaldo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Urko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Kauan Cardoso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 90th minute André Luís de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Vedillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís de Sena in the 97th minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Urko FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ricart Futebol Clube.
