Teodosio Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Boeru in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Progresul Pitesti's zone, Martin Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Ciociu came out of the goal and Martin Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Martin Corderall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ciociu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Ciociu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Tabor in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Progresul Pitesti getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Isac Onaca hit a great ball. Victor Ciociu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Tabor went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mădălin Petruescu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Teodosio Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progresul Pitesti. In the 37th minute Jorge Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ciociu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Urko FC's Martin Corderall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Ciociu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 43 minutes, Jorge Tabor made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Progresul Pitesti's attentive Filip Topală managed to snatch the ball when Lucio Jakobe made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mădălin Petruescu to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Alejo Goi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urko FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progresul Pitesti the free kick. In the 56th minute, Alejo Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Mădălin Petruescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Vedillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Victor Ciociu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Tabor in the 72nd minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Victor Ciociu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Ciociu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Tabor in the 82nd minute of play. When Urko FC's Jorge Tabor in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresul Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. Gilberto Ciano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Victor Ciociu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Urko FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
