Apal Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentim Vidal's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentim Vidal in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apal Roig saved Junta De Los Rios CF from getting behind. The supporters of Junta De Los Rios CF booed when Ribeirada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Torcato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ribeirada's Celso Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crescencio Rojas in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Junta De Los Rios CF's Crescencio Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Palma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celso Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafá Pabon in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafá Pabon in the 17th minute of play forced Ribeirada's goalkeeper Celso Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Solana scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Palma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Junta De Los Rios CF's Liberto Calderon got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Ribeirada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Marques's late challenge caught a Junta De Los Rios CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Marques helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Ribeirada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Junta De Los Rios CF:s goal. Apal Roig came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ribeirada's Valentim Vidal. But to his dismay, Valentim Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Valentim Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apal Roig having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Junta De Los Rios CF got a freekick which was hit by Mustafá Pabon. The supporters of Junta De Los Rios CF booed when Ribeirada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimas Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Valentim Vidal rounded Junta De Los Rios CF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Torcato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejo Solana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ribeirada's Isac Macedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 76 minutes into the match, Ribeirada's goal looked a bit too open when Zumar Huguet came free, but Celso Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Mustafá Pabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liberto Calderon kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Junta De Los Rios CF's Gandolfo Abrego got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Junta De Los Rios CF's zone, Valentim Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apal Roig came out of the goal and Valentim Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ribeirada's Valentim Vidal got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Valentim Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apal Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apal Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Torcato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
