An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Mulders in the 8th minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Boruc Praski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Sibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Kosowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boruc Praski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elco Mulders in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to KKS Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Leonard Wojtowicz hit a great ball. Boruc Praski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dries Zevenhuizen. Boruc Praski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elco Mulders in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Kosowski in the 25th minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Jan Sibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Sibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Zukowski in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Eelco Bosschaart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KKS Lech Poznań's Remigiusz Karp got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Mulders in the 43rd minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Boruc Praski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elco Mulders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boruc Praski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Elco Mulders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KKS Lech Poznań's Radomil Kolba was substituted for Miromir Kaczanka. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 57th match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchell Terpstra to maneuver through the defense. Rein Uebels kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in De Ontembare Leeuwen's zone, Remigiusz Karp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Sibon came out of the goal and Remigiusz Karp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Kosowski in the 64th minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Jan Sibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KKS Lech Poznań's Boruc Praski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elco Mulders in the 70th minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Koos Staal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boruc Praski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boruc Praski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elco Mulders's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Eelco Bosschaart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Koos Staal fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Ontembare Leeuwen's protests and gave Koos Staal a yellow card for diving instead. Koos Staal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Koos Staal came free, but Boruc Praski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Remigiusz Karp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan Sibon. Remigiusz Karp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
