A collision led to De Ontembare Leeuwen getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mitchell Terpstra hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Koos Staal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Paulo Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Koos Staal took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Fernandez. Zé Paulo Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 17th play minute Caco Corrêa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Sibon. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Caco Corrêa got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Mitchell Terpstra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Ontembare Leeuwen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Werneck FC - DMZ the free kick. Caco Corrêas short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Jan Sibon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34thth minute of the game Koos Staal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Caco Corrêa got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Werneck FC - DMZ's zone, Koos Staal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Fernandez came out of the goal and Koos Staal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Uebels came free, but Zé Paulo Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to De Ontembare Leeuwen getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mitchell Terpstra hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Zé Paulo Lara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jan Sibon didn't even have to move.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koos Staal to strike the kick off in the second half. Umberto Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rein Uebels managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters rose to their feet, but Rein Uebels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when De Ontembare Leeuwen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rinus Ronde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Zé Paulo Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elco Mulders in the 64th minute of play. When Rinus Ronde fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Ontembare Leeuwen's protests and gave Rinus Ronde a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to De Ontembare Leeuwen getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rinus Ronde hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Lara in the 71st minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Jan Sibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koos Staal in the 72nd minute. Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Terpstra in the 76th minute of play. Jan Sibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Corrêa in the 79th minute of the match. After 79th play minutes Caco Corrêa shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Jan Sibon and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 85th minute, Elco Mulders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Werneck FC - DMZ were furious when Genílson Cardozo was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Genílson Cardozo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Rinus Ronde got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Werneck FC - DMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Ontembare Leeuwen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
