In the 15thth minute of the game Frits Platvoet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River tu grato nombre's Jayson Burnett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jayson Burnett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frits Platvoet in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits Platvoet in the 20th minute of play forced River tu grato nombre's goalkeeper Jayson Burnett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ger Tollenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Cao Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to River tu grato nombre getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Walter Goodwin hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, one of River tu grato nombre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River tu grato nombre. The referee gave Albertus FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frank Heije, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of River tu grato nombre's Jayson Burnett. 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garth Cao Xiao was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Danny Scheer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jayson Burnett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harm Bosschaart got free with Jayson Burnett in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurice van Veldhuizen charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurice van Veldhuizen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Norton came free, but Ger Tollenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Platvoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Burnett having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Jelle Zijden. Jayson Burnett came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Albertus FC's Frits Platvoet. But to his dismay, Frits Platvoet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jayson Burnett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frits Platvoet in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Ralph Oorschot got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes, Eli Cermak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River tu grato nombre and the Albertus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eli Cermak kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Albertus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
