Dean Cools was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Dombroski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dean Cools. YR Mechelen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korneliusz Dombroski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Dean Cools showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Kaczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Dean Cools took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Boruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's Ludomil Boruta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dean Cools. That made the score 0-7 after 70 minutes of play. Dean Cools was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Sylwester Terasek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sylwester Terasek really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Dean Cools showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomil Boruta in the 77th minute of the match. Dean Cools made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Sylwester Terasek sent off a good shot on target. CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
