In the 5th minute Leandro Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Cesário having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Abel Velasques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andarilhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Błαck Bułłs MZ the free kick. A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Abel Velasques hit a great ball. Fabius Cannavaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes, Fabius Cannavaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Błαck Bułłs MZ and the Andarilhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Błαck Bułłs MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabius Cannavaro to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Błαck Bułłs MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Castanheira came free, but Augusto Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Gildo Capixaba made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Cesário. Andarilhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gildo Capixaba took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Cesário. Fábio Cesário dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Andarilhos's Leandro Campelo got a free kick in the 36th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 54 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Abel Velasques. Fábio Cesário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes Błαck Bułłs MZ got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Fonseca. Fábio Cesário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz de Amaral in the 65th minute of the match. Andarilhos's Zarco Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Herberto Vilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Cesário showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Hildeberto Lobato hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Andarilhos's Fábio Cesário played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz de Amaral in the 79th minute of play. Fábio Cesário showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fábio Cesário made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Massa in the 81st minute of play. Fábio Cesário stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caco Massa's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Zarco Moutinho hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Caco Massa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Błαck Bułłs MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
