Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) In the 10th minute, Iwan Marchefka had to leave the field with a concussion. Phantasy World made a substitution. Boruc Zbytniewski replaced Iwan Marchefka. In the 12th minute, Hubert Gartenmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Zurbuchen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jak Kaa. When Harrison Muntwyler came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harrison Muntwyler couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Karl von Planta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Zurbuchen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boruc Zbytniewski in the 17th minute. Phantasy World's Konrad Banan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrison Muntwyler in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Freeman Mächler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konrad Banan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Ryszard Bartoszek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Phantasy World booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenan Vinciguerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerzy Dobrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Espen Steelers's Marco Léveillé was substituted for Hubert Gartenmann. Kenan Vinciguerra, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Andre Zurbuchen got control of the ball when Boruc Zbytniewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Espen Steelers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Boruc Zbytniewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Zurbuchen having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Philipp Junod reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Konrad Banan. The goal made the score 0-2. When Philipp Junod came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Junod couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Gianni Rohr got a free kick in the 59th minute. Konrad Banan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freeman Mächler, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Kenan Vinciguerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espen Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenan Vinciguerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espen Steelers's Geordi Gerig was substituted for Philipp Junod. With his leg Konrad Banan managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Espen Steelers's Harrison Muntwyler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Harrison Muntwylers short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Konrad Banan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 82nd minute, Geordi Gerig fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 84 played minutes Phantasy World got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Bartoszek. In the 89th minute, Freeman Mächler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espen Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Espen Steelers played a much better game than Phantasy World and deserved their victory. The Phantasy World players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
