After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Petru Brânzaș got a free kick in the 17th minute. FC Ruscova's Niculae Andronescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ruscova from getting a goal against them. Inácio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Rada in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute FC Ruscova were awarded a corner. Andrei Victor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Andrei Victor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viseu United's Inácio Leite did a great save. Inácio Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Victor's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrei Victor in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inácio Leite saved Viseu United from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Marcu Alexandru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Ruscova's Niculae Andronescu got control of the ball when Daniel Pimentel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Ruscova booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Graça didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
