When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Valle made a kick off. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when Jardim Botânico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Cugat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Marquez having to make a save. Rodrigo Cugat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Basílio Marquez made a huge save. Basílio Marquez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. With a little luck, Jardim Botânico's Basílio Marquez got control of the ball when Rodrigo Cugat tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Jardim Botânico defense, Rodrigo Cugat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Marquez. The Jardim Botânico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Marquez should have stopped the shot. Samuel Cordareo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Basílio Marquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Júlio Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match, Rodrigo Cugat tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basílio Marquez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 95 played minutes Jardim Botânico got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Santos. If Rodrigo Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jardim Botânico fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
