Hansjörg Daniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, The Mongols was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Söderlund to maneuver through the defense. When Hansjörg Daniel fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Give Peace a Chance's protests and gave Hansjörg Daniel a yellow card for diving instead. Hansjörg Daniel kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Söderlund got free with Moritz Weidt in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Give Peace a Chance's Moritz Weidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Classon in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tage Classon in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moritz Weidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattias Söderlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Moritz Weidt made a huge save. If Jonas Säv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, The Mongols's goal looked a bit too open when Friedrich Hester came free, but Stig-Åke Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Classon kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Merten Belzner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Åke Andberg skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Give Peace a Chance booed when The Mongols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tage Classon was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Andberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Give Peace a Chance were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
