Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dimitri Van Landewijck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Terry Delen hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute Felix Bryngelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent-Jan Van Lancker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Stakbröte's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Van Landewijck came free, but Rutger Cane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Smets hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Felix Bryngelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Brent-Jan Van Lancker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Bautmans in the 29th minute of play forced Stakbröte's goalkeeper Rutger Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Trillkott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Stakbröte's Tor Trillkott ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brent-Jan Van Lancker. Brent-Jan Van Lancker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some careless play in the Stakbröte defense, Dimitri Van Landewijck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rutger Cane. The Stakbröte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rutger Cane should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Algot Danielsson was the one to do the kick off. Rutger Cane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Van den Hoff in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Stakbröte got a freekick which was hit by Tor Trillkott. In the 60th minute, Per-Åke Grönlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stakbröte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Rutger Cane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Bautmans in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tor Trillkott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stakbröte's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Trillkott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brent-Jan Van Lancker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Sleepy Soldiers FC got a freekick which was hit by Augustijn Van Boxstael. After 74 minutes of play, Stakbröte's Algot Danielsson made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brent-Jan Van Lancker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Sebastien Sterks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sleepy Soldiers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sleepy Soldiers FC's zone, Tor Trillkott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brent-Jan Van Lancker came out of the goal and Tor Trillkott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stakbröte's Felix Bryngelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Stakbröte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
