Arturo Ignado was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Benjamim Freitas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamim Freitas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Academia de Campeones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Asur to maneuver through the defense. Academia de Campeones's Arturo Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito de Sena in the 17th minute of play. After 22 played minutes PEREBAH FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Camargo. In the 23rd minute Vinicio Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia de Campeones's goalkeeper Arturo Ignado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Academia de Campeones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Celino to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Gilson Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PEREBAH FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia de Campeones the free kick. Pedro Asur came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amauri Proença could save by the left post. Amauri Proença made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Pedro Asur sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Academia de Campeones's Amauri Proença threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Asur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Celino in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Delmiro Celino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amauri Proença, 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Amauri Proença successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabiano Camargo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Camargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, PEREBAH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Academia de Campeones made a substitution. Victorio Botello replaced Delmiro Celino. Fabiano Camargo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Academia de Campeones's Victorio Botello ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amauri Proença. Amauri Proença yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After some careless play in the PEREBAH FC defense, Pedro Asur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Proença. The PEREBAH FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Proença should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, PEREBAH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Asur came free, but Amauri Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Academia de Campeones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PEREBAH FC throughout the match.
