Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hamílton Terra took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hamílton Terra struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Eustacio Socorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VARGINHA FC. In the 8th minute, Santos Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Socorro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulão Nóbrega. Teo Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Terciero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 minutes, Aírton Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VARGINHA FC and the Soroca F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Aírton Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Faustino Weterio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 26 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Santos Mancio. Gabriel Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Terciero in the 28th minute of the match. Eustacio Socorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido Paraense in the 30th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Gaston Ubarna made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabriel Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after VARGINHA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Generoso Lehior took the corner. After having played for 43 minutes, Uriel Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Precioso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adalberto Pinho hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Generoso Lehior fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soroca F.C.'s protests and gave Generoso Lehior a yellow card for diving instead. 57 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Weterio came free, but Gabriel Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soroca F.C.'s Arthur Theakston was substituted for Silverio Delfino. Gabriel Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Uriel Precioso sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Medeiros came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Arthur Theakston. But to his dismay, Arthur Theakston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Aírton Maciel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 82nd match minute, VARGINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Maciel to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Uriel Precioso made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teo Terciero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Soroca F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 90th minute of the match, Arthur Theakston tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gabriel Medeiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 91 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Ubarna came free, but Gabriel Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Uriel Precioso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Arlindo Bastos's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arlindo Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Arlindo Bastos hit a great ball. Soroca F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
