Juventud Antoniana's Angelo Bartolome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Conochie in the 14th minute of play. Marcelo Conochie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Bartolome having to make a save. 20 minutes into the game, Laurin Castelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventud Antoniana's Rodolfo Bonadona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaston Salado. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. Gaston Salado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Bonadona, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Conochie was the one to do the kick off. Laurin Castelos short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Angelo Bartolome to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute Marcelo Conochie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Remigio Rafe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventud Antoniana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cimarrones F.C. the free kick. Cimarrones F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Castel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Angelo Bartolome made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Marcelo Conochie sent off a good shot on target. Juventud Antoniana's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
