In the 17th minute Gavril Cozaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Edwards saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Dacian Smarandache got control of the ball when Benji Kay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Lambley to fire away a dangerous shot which Dacian Smarandache despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jay Holmes could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Dacian Smarandache however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th match minute, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Vătăşel to maneuver through the defense. Dacian Smarandache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome Groom in the 32nd minute of the match. Matthew Edwards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Cozaru in the 34th minute of play. Kenny Notley kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Club Atlético de Newell got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Groom. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alexandre Taillaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dacian Smarandache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club Atlético de Newell getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Kenny Notley hit a great ball. Thomas Colville charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Colville the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matthew Edwards showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Cozaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Nichifor Vătăşel made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gavril Cozaru. The supporters of ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benji Kay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 minutes, Nichifor Vătăşel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ and the Club Atlético de Newell players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético de Newell booed when ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position.
