Aerolineas Argentinas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportivo Quilmes the free kick. In the 40th minute, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Saverio Silban ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Epifanio Bastia. Epifanio Bastia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Tiburcio Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Silban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Guido Guillelmus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 62 minutes on the clock, Eliseo Lope commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Eliseo Lope got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Enzo Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alfredo Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Evangelista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Enekoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Fidele in the 86th minute of play forced Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Anier Flores got a free kick in the 86th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aerolineas Argentinas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Sportivo Quilmes.
