In the 12th minute, Cesar Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryan Tubbackx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Faustino Markel made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Meulemans came free, but Faustino Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KFC Vliegplein's Octaaf Van Acht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Uzuri in the 24th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Kenny Meulemans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Faustino Markel, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Esteve Toribio put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Octaaf Van Acht. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Esteve Toribio made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Esteve Dino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octaaf Van Acht was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Esteve Dino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octaaf Van Acht. That made the score 1-4 in the 68 minute of play. Octaaf Van Acht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Geoffrey Sterckmans kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Silvano Artaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octaaf Van Acht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Faustino Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Meulemans in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the KFC Vliegplein defense, Esteve Toribio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octaaf Van Acht. The KFC Vliegplein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octaaf Van Acht should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Tubbackx came free, but Faustino Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Geoffrey Sterckmans got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Gilberto Horado came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Horado couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olimpo de Bahia Blanca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
