In the 9th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Lauren to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inautzi Iglesias in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Afonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes of play, Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregory Camarasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Florida Gulf Coast's Flavio Lauren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregory Camarasa. That made the score 3-1 after 27 minutes of play. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Carlos Neto hit a great ball. Florida Gulf Coast's Maximino Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taio Diaz in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Taio Diaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tullidos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Florida Gulf Coast the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Lauren in the 35th minute of play forced Tullidos FC's goalkeeper Gregory Camarasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Florida Gulf Coast's zone, Inautzi Iglesias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Afonso came out of the goal and Inautzi Iglesias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Flavio Lauren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregory Camarasa was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 48th minute Flavio Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Camarasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Eli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, Tullidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Jerico came free, but Gregory Camarasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Flavio Lauren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes Tullidos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Bastida. 73 minutes into the match, Tullidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Jerico came free, but Gregory Camarasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Fabio Jerico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tullidos FC's Gregory Camarasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Tullidos FC's Inautzi Iglesias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Afonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tullidos FC's zone, Flavio Lauren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Camarasa came out of the goal and Flavio Lauren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
