After 2 minutes of play, Seven Tempest FC's Sabin Fresco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Afonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute, Sabin Fresco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seven Tempest FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Oalo Falconi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Afonso was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Oalo Falconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Matias Eli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peli Barbera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 23rd minute, Sabin Fresco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Afonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Matias Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Lauren got free with Peli Barbera in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Lauren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Peli Barbera made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Vizcarra came free, but Maximino Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oalo Falconi in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Seven Tempest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Lauren came free, but Peli Barbera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Seven Tempest FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mantzio Galan to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Vizcarra made a kick off. Peli Barbera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Eli in the 51st minute of play. Peli Barbera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Lauren in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Jerico in the 56th minute of play forced Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper Peli Barbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Juan-Carlos Ucedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seven Tempest FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Florida Gulf Coast the free kick. Florida Gulf Coast's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Gonzalo Vizcarra scored to the left of an out of position Maximino Afonso, making the score, 1-5. When Seven Tempest FC's Gonzalo Vizcarra in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Florida Gulf Coast's goalie prevented a goal. Florida Gulf Coast's Maximino Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oalo Falconi in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Flavio Lauren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Peli Barbera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flavio Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Peli Barbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabin Fresco kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Oalo Falconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when Seven Tempest FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cruz Falceto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Eli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peli Barbera. Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Flavio Lauren took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peli Barbera. Peli Barbera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. When the final whistle went the supporters of Seven Tempest FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Florida Gulf Coast side.
