Ali Reşit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matej Gvojić, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Recep Talha Ilgın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goran Mahalec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Recep Talha Ilgın in the 18th minute. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krsto Isaković in the 29th minute of play. NK BRONZIN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denis Guberina in the 31st minute. The corner led NK BRONZIN's Denis Guberina to fire away a dangerous shot which Ali Reşit despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. NK BRONZIN's Denis Guberina got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Denis Guberina off the ground. After 34 played minutes NK BRONZIN got a freekick which was hit by Denis Guberina. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği's zone, Vatroslav Štefanić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The NK BRONZIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Vatroslav Štefanić took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Reşit. Ali Reşit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Gençlerbirliği players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NK BRONZIN were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Recep Talha Ilgın to make the kick off. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Gençlerbirliği from getting a goal against them. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabrijel Ordanić in the 54th minute of play. In the 84th minute Matej Gvojić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Reşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit got control of the ball when Matej Gvojić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vatroslav Štefanić might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Reşit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vatroslav Štefanić ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Vatroslav Štefanić made a precise shot to the right of Ali Reşit. Gençlerbirliği's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched NK BRONZIN eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
