HIT Gorica's Urh Lupša played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Iban in the 3rd minute of play. Jaka Vinger hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaka Vinger in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Dantel saved La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Muharem Razdevšek during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudio Dantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Hohnjec in the 32nd minute of play. Urh Lupša showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Claudio Dantel had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Gregor Trdina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when La Maquina 9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Ćurčija kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Attila Hohnjec to make the kick off. Kristian Ćurčija hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vasko Osmić hit a great ball. Attila Hohnjec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, La Maquina 9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Etor to maneuver through the defense. Jošt Fogec kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Gualterio Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Attila Hohnjec made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Dantel. La Maquina 9-12-18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Maquina 9-12-18 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HIT Gorica.
