Zeledon Kiliz made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Alkeides Touchakis sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Christou came free, but Zeledon Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Unione Sportiva's Odysseas Rousses made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Kiliz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 played minutes Unione Sportiva got a freekick which was hit by Kaineus Georgousopoulos. Zeledon Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Kountouroudas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Unione Sportiva got a freekick which was hit by Vaggelis Kountouroudas. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaineus Georgousopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Nicolas Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Galoer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Volakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Oscar Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Volakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Karlo in the 35th minute of play. Nicolas Galoer's late challenge caught a Unione Sportiva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Galoer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Nicolas Galoer got a free kick in the 40th minute. Unione Sportiva's Hector Volakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Gaizko in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Vaggelis Kountouroudas made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vaggelis Kountouroudas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unione Sportiva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Nicolas Galoer hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Antonis Samios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Kiliz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Kountouroudas in the 88th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Zeledon Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unione Sportiva's Hector Volakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Unione Sportiva from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Unione Sportiva fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boca Juniors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
