Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) In the 3rd match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Tihane came free, but Candido Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Baldomiro Gamus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Valdmets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Palermo's Norberto Lehen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Valdmets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Pedro Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Valdmets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Janis Luht kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Millan. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Millan should have stopped the shot. Candido Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eikki Vaha in the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Palermo's Baldomiro Gamus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Valdmets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Palermo were furious when Anselmo Domingues was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Anselmo Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Eino Salumäe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Punane Vänt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eino Salumäe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Palermo's Pedro Maraman in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Punane Vänt's goalie prevented a goal. FC Punane Vänt's Mario Valdmets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Maraman in the 44th minute of play. Mario Valdmets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Fernendo in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
FC Punane Vänt's Magnus Pihl got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mariano Urtungo hit a great ball. Eino Salumäe shot from long distance after 55 played minutes, a shot that Candido Millan with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. When Palermo's Norberto Lehen in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Punane Vänt's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute, Rein Heinloo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Punane Vänt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 66th minute, Janis Luht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, FC Punane Vänt's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Fernendo came free, but Mario Valdmets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Ando Luiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Punane Vänt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. Ando Luiga hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Anibal Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Fernendo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Valdmets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 75 in the game by Pedro Maraman from a close distance when the talented Mario Valdmets managed to make a qualified save. FC Punane Vänt's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Tihane in the 79th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Candido Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, FC Punane Vänt's Henri Tihane made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 83 played minutes FC Punane Vänt got a freekick which was hit by Janis Luht. Pedro Maraman struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mario Valdmets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. Raivo Reeder's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raivo Reeder helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes FC Punane Vänt got a freekick which was hit by Raivo Reeder. After 95th play minutes Pedro Maraman shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Mario Valdmets and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Punane Vänt were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palermo for a fine match.
