Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aurelio Elizardo made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Dacio in the 3rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Prudencio Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sixto Olo hit a great ball. Formentera's Prudencio Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Elizardo in the 7th minute of play. Godfredo Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Melquiades Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Formentera's Prudencio Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Elizardo in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Pastor Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Silban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Elizardo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Elizardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Aurelio Elizardo got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Pastor Oriche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metapalo FC's Melquiades Silban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melquiades Silban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Oriche in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Isidoro Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Prudencio Otsoko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melquiades Silban stood somewhat misplaced when Osvaldo Mero came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Alonzo Vincente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Silban having to make a save. Pastor Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Silban having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Vincente got free with Melquiades Silban in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Pastor Oriche took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Melquiades Silban to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Oriche made a kick off. Alonzo Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Melquiades Silban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the match Formentera got a corner. Metapalo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alonzo Vincente ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alonzo Vincente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Metapalo FC's Melquiades Silban did a great save. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Isidoro Garcia hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Oriche in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Silban saved Metapalo FC from getting behind. After 61 minutes of play, Formentera's Alonzo Vincente made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Silban was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melquiades Silban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Oriche's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When Formentera's Pastor Oriche in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metapalo FC's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Pastor Oriche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Silban. Metapalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Oriche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 90th match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Olo to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Garcia's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Isidoro Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metapalo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
