After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Juan Barral got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Quadros to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Zé Carlos Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Baldemer Sevilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Carlos Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldemer Sevilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Zé Carlos Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Nicholas Cainzos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pendotiba's Ramiro Dias. Ramiro Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baldemer Sevilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Cacá Salles got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Samuel Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aysouraguán's Indartsu Gabas got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Cainzos in the 45th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Ramiro Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Cacá Salles's late challenge caught a Aysouraguán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cacá Salles helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Pendotiba got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Salles. Zé Carlos Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldemer Sevilla having to make a save. Ramiro Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otero Nadal in the 58th minute of play. Ramiro Dias made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Samuel Negro sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Cacá Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goalkeeper Ramiro Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Negro. Paulão Quirino's late challenge caught a Aysouraguán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldemer Sevilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendotiba. Ramiro Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Cainzos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Pendotiba's Ramiro Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Cainzos in the 81st minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match, Nicholas Cainzos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ramiro Dias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 89 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Negro came free, but Ramiro Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Cainzos in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Samuel Negro could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Ramiro Dias however easily saved by the left post. After 93 played minutes Pendotiba got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Carneiro. When Paulão Quirino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Aysouraguán's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
