Josu Mendibuey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Borniquell in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Borniquell in the 13th minute of play forced Villa Lourdes FC's goalkeeper Esteban Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Villa Lourdes FC's Mariano Erauso got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Prospero Rasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Rius. Villa Lourdes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Rasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Villa Lourdes FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Golden Dragón F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rigoberto Ondino took the corner. The corner led Villa Lourdes FC's Rigoberto Tono to fire away a dangerous shot which Basilio Colomes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Esteban Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paskal Panguision, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Severino Borniquell. In the 34th minute, Mariano Erauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Florentino Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Rius came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Dragón F.C's Severino Borniquell. But to his dismay, Severino Borniquell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Villa Lourdes FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Dragón F.C were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Ondino made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Severino Borniquell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Borniquell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sindo Munozcano during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sindo Munozcano hit a great ball. Esteban Rius was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Paskal Panguision capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paskal Panguision really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Rigoberto Tono charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Tono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Villa Lourdes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Tono to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes, Rigoberto Ondino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Lourdes FC and the Golden Dragón F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Villa Lourdes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Ondino to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Villa Lourdes FC's goalkeeper Esteban Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Rasa. Toli Bailina hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Florentino Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute Mariano Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Colomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josu Mendibuey got free with Esteban Rius in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Josu Mendibuey took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Esteban Rius to make any attempt to save it. Golden Dragón F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
