The wind increased when Augustin Oltean made the kick off in the second half. Nistor Manu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damián Akerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the match Dacians Academy got a corner. 1947 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Simionescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 56th minute Damián Akerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Manu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
