In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Dacians Academy. Niculae Alb stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rony Secco. 1-1. Rony Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Alb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Augustin Oltean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The supporters of Dacians Academy booed when Fluminense DF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Oltean in the 63rd minute of play forced Fluminense DF's goalkeeper Rony Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Secco came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Dacians Academy's Niculae Alb. But to his dismay, Niculae Alb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dacians Academy's Niculae Alb got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dacians Academy's Augustin Oltean got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Niculae Alb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rony Secco. Fluminense DF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niculae Alb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Alb in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rony Secco saved Fluminense DF from getting behind. Fluminense DF's Rony Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Alb in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Fluminense DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Rony Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Oltean in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Alb came free, but Rony Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fluminense DF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dacians Academy.
